Job Summary:
The MBA and Masters Programs Office is seeking a dedicated Student Services Coordinator to provide support to students in MBA and Masters programs. The Student Services Coordinator will help design and execute co-curricular initiatives that strengthen teamwork, leadership, and professional communication skills. Responsibilities also include supporting students in graduate programs, developing student communications, planning events, and collaborating with faculty and staff to support student engagement and success. This position has a direct impact on the student experience and contributes to the overall success of the MBA and Masters portfolio.
The person in this role will:
Partner with key stakeholders in the Wisconsin School of Business to implement student facing programming that develops students’ leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
Coordinate logistics for special events for Full-Time MBA and Masters Programs like new student orientation, the Weikel Leadership speaker series, the Ignite Leadership Development Series, Awards of Excellence, and Graduation.
Coordinate logistics for community building events for the Masters in Business Analytics Program.
Provide support for and advise graduate student organizations in the Wisconsin School of Business.
Assist with planning graduate case competitions organized by the MBA and Masters Programs Office.
Travel with students to case competitions, experiential learning site visits, and professional development conferences.
Monitor degree progress for a caseload of students in our graduate programs.
Coordinate procurement, logistics travel accommodations for student events, and students travel to national competitions and conferences.
This position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Organizes student-focused programming and resources to promote new and ongoing educational initiatives
- Serves as a subject matter expert regarding student affairs to internal and external stakeholders
- Generates and analyzes reports of curricular and unit outcomes
Manages the MBA and Master’s Programs Office front desk: Oversees daily front-desk operations to ensure a welcoming, professional, and efficient environment for students, staff, and visitors. Trains and supervises student workers, coordinates coverage schedules, and establishes clear procedures for greeting guests, responding to inquiries, and routing requests to the appropriate staff member. Maintains consistency in service delivery, monitors communication channels (email, phone, walk-ins), and ensures accurate documentation of student interactions in shared systems.
- Writes, edits, and publishes content for various communication projects and marketing platforms to align with strategic initiatives and established communication campaigns
- Creates and maintains schedules, logistics, and resources for one or multiple student affairs programs, activities, and/or services

Compensation:
The minimum salary for the position is $50,000. Actual starting salary will be based on experience and qualifications.

Minimum two years of professional work experience in residence life, academic advising, student affairs, student services, career services, education or a related field.
Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders (students/faculty/staff, university administrators, alumni, industry partners, etc.)
Strong creative problem-solving and analytical thinking skills to address complex student needs.
Appreciation for and understanding of the varied experiences and perspectives of international students.
Demonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in a professional setting.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and solve problems with urgency and accountability.
