Job Summary:

The Department of Radiology, UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking part-time pediatric radiologists interested in primarily remote work during the late afternoon and evening hours at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor on the CT (Clinician Teacher) Track.

Pediatric Radiology supports the American Family Children's Hospital, a 111-bed pediatric hospital and level 1 trauma center with 64 general care, 21 PICU, and 26 level 4 NICU beds. UW Pediatric Radiology also provides coverage for a 42-bed, level 3 NICU at Meriter Hospital across town, associated with the birthing center. Additional outreach sites for teleradiology only are in Mauston, WI, Fort Atkinson, WI and Rockford, IL.

For appointments hired on the Clinician Teacher (CT) Track:
The successful applicant will provide remote teleradiology patient care at UW Health approved locations and participate in resident and medical teaching within the scope of their medical practice.

Responsibilities:

The pediatric radiology group provides coverage for nearly all modalities of pediatric radiology; pediatric radiographs, body US/ MR/ CT, neonatal head, and spine ultrasound, MSK CT and MRI. This position is designed for coverage of the late afternoon and evening hours, supporting the on-call residents as well as being the primary reader of after-hour inpatient and outpatient studies. The evening coverage will primarily be for weekdays (Monday-Friday) and in cases that are mutually agreed upon by all parties could be expanded to weekend hours. As this is a primarily remote position, fluoroscopic procedures and basic interventional procedures will not be performed by this individual except in rare instances of in-person coverage being provided. Department teaching assignments include medical students, residents, fellows, and other professionals.
