Job Summary:
The Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking a physician to provide emergency care to patients. This position will also teach medical students, residents, and fellows.

Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members. The successful candidate will teach medical students, residents, and fellows.

Education:
Required
Terminal Degree
MD or DO; Board prepared/board certified in Emergency Medicine.
Qualifications:
Completed accredited Emergency Medicine residency training program. Candidates for Associate Professor (CHS) rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and promotion on the CHS track.
License/Certification:
Required
Eligible for Wisconsin medical license.
Work Type:
Full or Part Time: 50% - 100%
It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.

Additional Information:
This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.
